Considerations for your border color might be:
  • To contrast OR coordinate with the dominating color/s in your room.
  • To contrast with the color of the floor.
  • To enhance an open floorplan, and pull a color from one adjoining space into another area.

Things to know:

  • The border color will be the dominating color of the floorcloth.
  • The diagrams shown here are based on a 2' x 3' size.
  • Larger sizes will be adjusted proportionately.
  • You may request a scale drawing. The diagrams are representational of the designs.
  • The overall placement of colors and pieces will be slightly different on the actual piece.
  • Pieces are free-hand cut, nothing is exact, except overall size.
  • All mats include black line drawings and/or accents, but black may also be used as a color choice.
Custom sizes and shapes of Floorcloths are available. All Floorcloths are $36.00 per square foot.

Custom Color Placement Considerations

  • Most of these designs are composed of 5 colors.
  • Some designs can use more colors if desired (Note: can have any number of colors.)
  • We cannot guarantee exact color matching to our color chart due to common differences of computer presentation, but we WILL confirm your colors by mail.
  • Practically speaking, the most important decision is the color of the border.  After that, the other colors will be placed in a balanced sort of arrangement.
