Design Your Own GraffitiMat

A Studio Workshop with Textile Artist Sheree White Sorrells

For the first time ever, Whitewoven Textile Art Studio is offering a class in the unique handcrafted methods used to create our popular GraffitiMats.

Invented and developed in the Whitewoven studio, GraffitiMats combine fabric collage, painted canvas, and specialized finishing techniques to create colorful textile surfaces that are both beautiful and practical for everyday use.

In this special workshop series, students will learn the creative process behind these distinctive mats and design their own kitchen floor mat or set of placemats. Working with canvas, fabrics, paints, and studio finishing methods, you will explore color, composition, and texture while creating a functional piece of textile art for your home.

Each student project becomes a one-of-a-kind piece, reflecting individual design choices and color combinations.
